Initial Interview/ Final Interview ;)
Tell me something about yourself (tamad ang mga recruiter eh, kesa nga naman sila ang magtanong ikaw na ang magpakilala haha ganun tlga sila) but one of the reasons they're asking this is because they want to check your comm skills (communication skills)
-most of the time, di mo na kailangan to pahabain kc this part is not that important most likely dapat mga 3-5 mins lang to.
what they are reffering to is your education and your previous/current employment
(wag mataranta)
you can just start from your education and then your employment history but if they ask you to start from your most recent job, yun ang unahin then education afterwards, sila sundin mo kasi if they gave u instructions xmpre u should follow that's one of your tests.
you can just tell them what college you went to, course, year you graduated.
NEVER ever tell them that you've been a BUM after graduation (dun sa mga di nagkawork after graduation or s mga tumigil sa pagaaral ) U can just tell them that U handled a small family business or something. anything na kaya mo lusutan at ideffend pag may mga follow up questions. pero most of the time, after mo magdahilan wala n silang tanong.
Or another technique is after u told them what you did after graduation, isunod mo kgad yung employment history.
Just be spontaneous wag ka tumigil sa pagsasalita remember they gave you the right to say something about you unless may itatanong sila sayo.
Remember the months and years of your employment para maisama mo sya sa kwento mo. Para ka lang nagkkwento, don't be Nervous ;p
And one thing you should not forget, for undergraduates, may mga plans magstudy, magmasteral etc. and dun s may mga businesses or s may mga plans magbusiness or dun s mga nagdahilan n may business. haay haba nun.
Do not tell them you want to study or continue studying (spec. mga nursing, educ grads)
-NEVER ever tell the recruiter you want to study or continue studying (even most of us do) because THEY WILL NOT HIRE YOU.
-And for the Nursing grads if you've worked as a Nurse or not, tell them you dont wan't to go back working as a nurse or u don't want to continue on that field (magdahilan for ex: sabihin nio there's a huge competition in that field so I decided to be a part of the Corporate world.
-Bkt? Dahil mainit ang mga recruiter sa mga Nurse ngayon dhil di naman din sila nagtatagal sa ganung field because they have their own forte. Same for teachers and the others. U have to make them believe u.
likewise (for businessmen/women) Do not tell the recruiter you want to run a business (even most of us plans to) or if u already have a business (and dun s mga nagdahilan n my business sila)
- You can just tell them that a family member/relative is already running the business, binenta mo na yung business mo etc. Make them believe na wala ka ng kinalaman dun sa business.
-Bkt? Because it might affect your stay with the company in the future.
THE RECRUITER WILL NOT HIRE YOU FOR THESE REASONS BECAUSE IT WILL BE A CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Just think about it, think as a recruiter before you apply and not as an applicant.
LIE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. LIARS GETS THE JOB.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For fresh Graduates.
Maswerte kayo wala ng maxado itatanong about previous/current employment. They're probably gonna ask you of something, maybe situations or something you've experienced and what did you do about it or something from college or your course.
They might ask you how will you use the course you finished on the job your applying for. hmm. PWEDE??!!
Just be ready, gather your thoughts and speak in straight english (no slips) be confident and don't be nervous or intimidated pag masungit ang recruiter. What I do is, binebalatan ko sila pag di nakatingin ;p Pero wag nio n gawin yun baka mahuli pa kayo.
For some that has no experience/BPO (already has work experience/s but not BPO)
Same thing, situations or experiences and what you did about it. Something from your past or previous work. There's actually a lot. Just be ready and answer as quick as possible. Para lang yan Ms. Universe Q&A.
For the guys who has experience
Guys, we know what to do malaki na tayo. Pag naterminate na dati, wag ng ilagay sa resume. May mga iba nilalagay parin. Kahit iisa lang yan experience mo tpos naterm kp, wag mo na lagay.. Mas ok pa yun. If the recruiter asked you what you did sa mga panahong wala kang trabaho, alam mo na yun. Dun naman tayo magaling sa pagdadahilan parang di naman natin nigagawa sa mga customer yun sa call.
If we had bad experiences with our previous company/ies, wag na idaldal pa sa recruiter. Never tell anything negative about your previous employer, bka imbes na mahire kpa matakot pa sayo recruiter. Sa atin nlang yun. Be careful on your choice of words.
-Do not tell them that the reason why you resigned with your previous employer is that your looking for career growth because they didn't promote you dhil yung TL mo ay may favoritism khit mas mgaling ka. for example.
Pwedeng alternative dyan ay your looking for personal and proffesional growth.
-Never ever mention you have salary disputes before. Or naghahanap ka ng mas malaking sweldo. Like I said, choice of words is important. Ayaw nila ng mukang pera. Kaya kahit totoo na gusto natin yun eh wag na natin pahalata.
-Bkit? What if they hire you and other centers will offer you a higher pay? E di lalayasan mo sila.
Remember, walang masama kung magdadahilan ka or lie about it, bakit di ka naman nia kakilala diba.
-Uhm. alternative dyan cguro ex: I left the company because of an emergency,
-you have to go to your province
-your going to take care of your properties.(wow sosyal heredera/o?) or combination of both
basta maraming pwedeng way for you to hide the real reasons why you left your previous company in a positive way.
Mas ok kung papurihan mo yung dati mong company, that you really don't want to leave since your already building your career but due to an emergency you don't have any choice but to resign. Inform that you were allowed by your bosses. And although it was a good company, the company can't afford to file you a leave for the time you needed to fix your problem.
NEVER TELL ANYTHING PERSONAL.
If the real reason you resigned is something personal, ex: your a battered wife and your hiding from your ex-husband and the reason you resigned is because you moved in a diff location and now your looking for a new job. That's too personal to tell the recruiter. Hide the real reason, remember you just met your recruiter how are they suppose to know if your really telling the truth. They will just think that your getting their sympathy in order for you to get the job. Remember MAGDAHILAN. Maraming dahilan. LIE. If you have personal problems or issues. Keep it to yourself. That's why it is PERSONAL. There's a proper place and people to tell your stories. Your applying for a job not an actress/actor. Use your acting skills on making the recruiter believe you.
MONEY WISE
Some centers really don't add special treatments for people who has XP spec. in provinces.
To freshgrads and no XP(experience)
Pls Pls Don't demand about the salary. be Confident but not too much. Be confident throughout the interview BUT not on this question:
WHAT IS YOUR EXPECTED SALARY? This is the most important question hehe
Cause no matter how good you are pag di kayo nagkasundo you'll fail.
Guys, you dont have experience yet, time will come naman na pwede kna magdemand..
- Just simply say this:
I dont have the right to demand about the salary.
Eh di pag pinilit ka, sabihin mo you dont have any idea.
With Experience:
Just to be safe, start from the lowest to the highest you expect for the basic pay.
ex: 12k-18k basic negotiable without allowance.
if they asked you your expections for the package start with 15k- 20k highest negotiable
that's the safest.
Even if pinakamababa naman sabihin mo eh, they're still going to give you their whole package. basta wag lang lalampas yung expectations mo sa package because if you did, you'll fail because it's not what you expect of them. They can't hire someone whose expecting more than they can give because if time comes na may magoffer ng higher pay at ipirate ka, you'll end up leaving them.
WHY DO U WANT TO WORK IN A CALL CENTER? or WHAT DO U KNOW ABOUT IT?
For beginners:
*Don't tell the recruiter you want to work in a callcenter ay dhil sa sweldo. remember yung mukang pera?
-You can just simply tell them:
-Callcenters are the most fastest booming companies and I want to be a part of it. I'm looking for a more challenging role for my personal and proffesional growth and I'd like to undergo an extensive training that your company can provide.
*One alternative for the word salary is something like this:
- I like to enjoy the good benefits that a call center can provide me. *site some points for your career.
When a recruiter ask u about what u know with call centers.. Don't answer "i don't know"
- bkt? Sino ba naman ang magaapply sa isang company na di alam kung ano ang ginagawa dun? Di sila naghahanap ng bonggang sagot. pero kung kaya mong bumongga, pabongga k?
tell them what you know about the job
-Remember they need answers. Even wala kang alam on what's happening inside a call center pwede mong sabihin khit ano small details of what you know.
-A call center has CSR's and TSR's. Computers and phones. And what they do is taking calls. Dumbest answer but still, it is acceptible. U can't just stare to your interviewer.
ABSENCES? LATES? DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS?
*They normally asks if you ever had disciplinary actions, lates or absences.
Come on. Don't jump off the cliff. Syempre hinuhuli ka nila. Don't be scared. They're not going to ask your past employers if you had disciplinary actions, lates or absences. say NEVER.
SOMETIMES, THEY DO ASK QUESTIONS THAT MIGHT BE OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Like these eamples:
How will u describe the color red to a blind person?
Why are polar bears left handed?
If you'd be an animal what would that be and why?
If your an inventor what would you invent? or uninvent?
If your the president what will you implement?
If you will be awarded by the people what would that be and why?
churky. churky..
those were just examples and I think the most easiest ones. There's no right or wrong answer to that. What they want to see is how you will answer, your communication skills, how fast can you answer and if your answer is reasonable. You need to impress them.
TARANTA QUESTIONS.
1.WHAT CAN U CONTRIBUTE TO THIS COMPANY??
2.WHAT IF YOUR NOT GOING TO PASS THIS INTERVIEW???
3.WHY DO U THINK I SHOULD HIRE YOU FOR THIS POSITION???
*just site your good characters that corresponds with the questions.
